The costs of property in Turkey
Any property requires maintenance costs. Real estate purchased in Turkey is no exception. Regardless of whether it was purchased by local citizens or citizens of other States, the cost of maintaining apartments and villas will be the same.
There are two types of payments: annual and monthly.
The amount of tax depends on the size of the property, as well as where it is located. In large cities, this tax is higher, and in small ones, respectively, it is lower. In General, the tax amount ranges from 0.1% to 0.2% of the value of residential real estate. Note that the amount specified in the TAPU is taken into account, not the market value of the object. That is, this tax is quite moderate.

DASK is a compulsory insurance against earthquakes. You need to buy insurance every year, regardless of whether the object is located in a seismic-resistant zone or not. DASK is valid throughout the territory of Turkey. The cost of insurance depends on the area of the property, the type of its structure, as well as the location of the object - specifically for this purpose, the country has tariffs for different zones. On average, insurance will cost 40 euros per year.
This is a payment for the maintenance of a residential complex. Aidat is established at a meeting of residents and each owner makes monthly payments to the management company. The size of the Armenian cause is very different. It can be from several tens to several hundred euros. The larger and richer the infrastructure in the residential complex, the higher the idat. For example, one residential complex has one small pool, and the other has several pools, including indoor ones with heating. Of course, the aidat in these complexes will be different. Water usage rates are low, and water is paid only by the meter. Prices are different, depending on the type of housing and its location. On average, a cubic meter costs 1 Euro.
The cost of electricity in Turkey is also low, but given the fact that in summer and winter, many include air conditioners, you can get a decent amount. Especially if the air conditioners are constantly working, and the house is very large. Therefore, in order to save money, you should use electrical appliances deliberately and do not turn them on unnecessarily. There are different electricity tariffs in the country, the cheapest ones are at night, which is also actively used by local residents. By the way, in order to save money, many residents use solar panels, heating water for free and not spending electricity on it.
There is no Central heating almost anywhere, especially on the Mediterranean coast. Winters are mild there, only a month and a half, and it just doesn't make sense to install heating. Therefore, in winter, local residents make do with air conditioning. In General, the maintenance of housing in Turkey is quite economical and does not require large expenses, unless, of course, you are the owner of a huge Villa of several floors. And the maintenance of ordinary apartments, even in prestigious residential areas with the infrastructure of 5* hotels will cost a fairly small amount.
